Whether you are just getting started or want to hone your technique, Climbing New Heights has a class to up your game. For class descriptions and pricing, see the information below. Class members enjoy discounted rates for day passes $10, and $15 for day pass with gear rental to practice between classes. You are welcome to drop in on any of our class offerings without a reservation, just come about 10 minutes early if it is your first class visit! Private instruction

In addition to our regularly scheduled group classes, we also offer private instruction that will take your climbing to the next level! Private lessons are great for new climbers looking to build a strong foundation of technique, or for advanced climbers hoping to take their skills to the next level. Private instruction is taught by Collin Weaver. During your private session, Collin will assess your individual goals, strengths, and areas to work on and follow up with a training plan to continue on the road to success. Sessions are $60/hour for one person and $100 for 2 people and must be scheduled in advance.

 

CLIMBING 101

Saturdays & Sundays Scheduled in advance

Whether you’re brand new to climbing, or looking to refresh your knowledge of belaying, Climbing 101 is a great place to start your climbing journey, by learning to safely top rope climb and belay indoors. This course is not required, but is recommended for adults or people over the age of 10 looking to climb our top rope routes. This hour long course teaches newcomers or those out of practice how to put on and tie into a climbing harness, perform an equipment safety check, belay, and communication protocol between the climber and belay partner. Most participants earn a belay certification to continue climbing at the gym at their convenience without instruction. With the remaining time, beginner techniques are taught to start your climbing journey off on the right foot! Class includes instruction, day pass, and all necessary gear. $60 per person.


Beginner student classes (Level 1)

MONDAYS 4:30-5:30pm or Fridays 4:30-5:30pm

Our beginner student class meets weekly for climbers ages 5-12 years old who are interested in weekly opportunities to grow their skills, and learn more techniques to climb to new heights. Our students always get a workout in, and a fun, safe environment is our number one priority. Our instructors change the skills to practice weekly and tailor the skills taught to the group of climbers in attendance. Drop In rate $35 to check it out. Advanced student classes

MONDAYS 5:30-6:30pm OR Fridays 5:30-6:30pm

Our advanced student class is for climbers ages 7-12 that are really into climbing. Students in our advanced classes learn techniques to send harder climbs in the gym in a team oriented environment. We encourage the students to work together in standard climbing partnerships through the class, so belay certification and instructor permission is required to join. Students typically start in our Beginner Kids class and work their way up to Level 1 and Level 2 Advanced classes.

teen technique

Mondays 6:30-8pm or Fridays 6:30-8pm

Our teen technique class meets weekly for climbers ages 13 years and older who are interested in weekly opportunities to grow their skills, and learn more techniques to climb harder. climbfit adult classes

Mondays 7:30-9pm

This popular class focuses on increasing your fitness to climb stronger. This class is offered weekly for climbers aged 18 years and older (or with special permission). Coach Collin focuses his training on overall physical fitness, having a bullet-proof mindset, and being able to push past your mental barriers as the key factors for improving our sport. WOMEN’S TECHNIQUE

Wednesdays 7:30-9pm

Our women’s technique class is typically our most popular class offering. This class is beginner friendly and most find this group to be welcoming and encouraging. Lily teaches new skills weekly that will challenge beginners and advanced climbers alike. Drop In rate $35/adults to check it out.
